As a glove manufacturer, we have been developing and producing different types of industrial gloves(for the police, self defense forces, driving, athletic games) suitable for each purpose of use. Particularly, we have custom-designed the golf gloves for over 10,000 players, modeling their hands individually and tailoring to the individual manual features.We have been accumulating the data on the manual movement and functionality, materials for gloves, and processing/sewing, and reflecting them on our current unique products. Upon request for joint development of outfit for disabled people(artificial legs, wheel chairs, countermeasures for rain) by Ms. Kimiyo Iwanami, Tokyo Metropolitan Office, Welfare Bureau, Local Promotion Department, in 1988, we set our hand to development of the special purpose gloves for wheel chairs. Having spent five years under cooperation of the nationwide medical institutions, we have merchandized the special purpose gloves for wheel chairs, based on the feedback on our products from the doctors, patients, and other staff at those institutions, particularly Ito National Center for Severely Disabled(phone: (81)-0977-21-0181), Beppu National Center for Severely Disabled(phone: (81)-0977-21-0181), and Tokorozawa National Rehabilitation Center for Disabled(phone: (81)-042-995-3100). As an aid to the barrier-free society, we will continue to manufacture the products designed to help rehabilitate the disabled people in cooperation with the users, based on our basic policies, "Arouse Your Spirits" and "Manufacture for the Society." Please give us your kind advices and comments, if any. We are planning to develop the special purpose gloves for wheel chairs, which are furnished with fluorescent film to secure your safety even at night by allowing others to confirm the position of the wheel chair, and those for wheel chairs, which can accommodate recreational and sporting purposes.
